Well in my computer i've got a
Kingston hyperx fury 4gb 1866MHz (not really sure maybe its 1600MHz) RAM stick, but i want to upgrade this ( i Edit video's and play games for which i need internet as a wiki)
I want to do this with exactly the same sticks, same size, but in a dual kit, and i want to add this for 12 GB ram. I have a dual channel motherboard and i have a slightly overclocked AMD fx4300 CPU. Running stable. I also have overclocked my memory but i am going to set it back to defaulr because i did this for temporary little boost. Im still a little scared to overclock stuff.

Is it a good idea, or could i better keep 1 out of my system and later on add 1 extra same stick?

Regards,
Melvin

Solution
If you have them - give it a try, try the pair of sticks in slots 1-3 and go into the BIOS set the DRAM voltage to 1.55, save exit, shutdown and add the odd stick in slot 2 - give it a try and tell us what happens
