XP Sp3 to XP Sp1 urgent help!

I need to downgrade from Windows XP SP3 to Windows XP SP1 for product activation reasons buy when I try to install with a disk it says "setup cannot continue because the version of windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD". I really want to use sp1 fast so a quick solution would be great thanks!

The only solution is to reinstall using either a disk already containing SP1 or an original media sans service pack and then install SP1. Just what product is it that requires SP1 for activation?

Its the os itself. I only have a code for sp1 so when I tried to update to sp3 I got an iso instead of an upgrade. I was clumsy I know but I have a disk of sp1 but I can't install it. Because I have a "newer" version of windows xp. It pops up saying you need to register for a product key but I can use the ie7 c:\ trick to let me on the desktop. Any more help would be great
