I am running a core 2 quad 2.40 ghz, 1tb Seagate SSHD, Nvidia GT 630 GPU, and 6gb of ram(windows 10). I was using my computer yesterday and all of a sudden my mouse got really laggy for a second and then the screen flashed to black and then back to normal again. It took me a while to figure out what was going on and when I looked in task manager I saw that the CPU was spiking to 100 and my hard drive was consistently at 100% usage. I looked online and saw some programs to kill to fix this. I killed the programs but it only worked for a minute or two. I ran AVG, Malwarebytes, diskcheck, error check, defrag, diagnostics and still nothing. I reverted back to a restore point, I cleaned the registry with CCleaner, I even reinstalled windows but kept my files. Right now I'm restoring windows completely. I've tried everything. Any input would really help. I hope its not the board.
