Best GPU for Core 2 Quad Q9300

Hi everyone,
I'm going to upgrade a Dell Optiplex 745 to play some games. The CPU I've picked out is a Core 2 Quad Q9300. However, I can't seem to pick a graphics card. It would have to be a single slot card to fit in the Dell's case. Thanks.

I'd recommend a GTX 750 or 750Ti if you can. You may have a small amount of bottlenecking, but that CPU isn't the best, so there's not many decent cards that wouldn't be bottlenecked with it. Be sure your power supply can handle them both.

Thanks, what if the CPU was a Core 2 Quad Q9550? It's not much of an improvement, but would it bottleneck as much?
