Hi all! Here is my problem:
these are the parts that I already have:
CPU i7 6700K
ram: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3400
video card HD radeon 7950 (will upgrade later, most likely stick to single video card setup)
Samsung 950 PRO -Series 256GB PCIe NVMe - >>>M.2<<<< Internal SSD
PSU CORSAIR RM750i
1 more SSD 128gb, may get mushkin 1tb ssd for storage 2 more 3.5 spinning 7200 HDDs (optional if i get the 1tb ssd, not a dealbreaker if i cant fit all hard drives at the same time, just for storage)
DO NOT Have- cpu cooler (depends on case depth; air, not water) Motherboard (itx or mini ATX) budget under $200 USD Case thermaltake v1 snow edition for ITX OR thermaltake v21 for mini ATX
would be nice to have built in WIFI into mobo
So yeah- i really like the core v1 snow, however never strayed from standard mid-tower ATX PCs so kind of sketched out i may run into unforseen problems
alternatively the core v21 microATX is also pretty sweet, but would still want to paint it white at some point
most likely will not get dual video cards unless upcoming VR headets REALLY need it....
another concern is OC-ign- the CPU and ram i would want to OC at least a bit to get the most out of them (nothing crazy requiring water cooling)
anyone have thoughts/comments? in FL, will ship via amazon/newegg most likely.

Solution
An M.2 slot will give you the option of massively fast board mounted SSD's
M.2 is found on m-ATX boards , and possibly underneath some mini-ITX boards but that would be way less common

see thats what im concerned about, but i honestly cant think of what i would be losing out on... 2 video cards seem overkill at this stage- price v gain at least, and i cant think of any expansion slots that I could be needing in the future.

problem is i have been out of the pc building scene for 8 years almost so im worried about missing something- what did you have in mind in terms of limitations?

Ummm... well, for instance the one thing I am mad about going mATX vs full ATX is/was the variety of 4 slots for RAM in the mATX was little to none. Also, two PCI slots could be nice for a cheap way of making 2 video cards at a $50 range run like one at $150 range.

hmmm thanks for the input guys! I already have the m.2 purchased, i was looking at a few mobos that have a m.2 slot... as for the ram- i dont think ill need more than the 16gb that i bought (just gaming/browsing etc, no professional work)... when i do replace the 7950 it will be with a single higher end card (970 or something of the sort- whatever is in that price range around april/may i guess)... so far so good on the ITX! anything else anyone can think of?
cheers!
