Hello all I did a video thinking it would be easier for you experts to help me diagnose my issue. So basically in short I was playing a game and bam....everything went off. It was like the power went out in the house. It worked flawlessly from new to now. This is my first time posting here but long time follower of the site.

UPDATES 1-21-16
- Bad CPU all working now

UPDATES 1-11-16
-New CPU and New Motherboard on its way. I think both went, and when I got the new MB the CPU blew that one.

UPDATES 1-8-16
-New PSU did same thing as video so PSU wasn't the issue
-New Motherboard (Same make and model) It will turn on without clicking but not posting.

Couple of notes
- Nothing overclocked
- All parts about 4 months old and probably 10 hours of total on time
- Latest BIOS
- Temps are always very stable so don't think it was an overheat issue
- BIOS have always been set properly
- Most info is explained in the video so please let me know what you think. My guess is its the motherboard because the fan lights don't come on when I can power it on with no CPU 8pin connected. If I connect the 8 pin nothing comes on like a short. Maybe a bad CPU but highly unlikely.

Question to your reply. So even though it passes the Self Test, and everything powers powers on when the 8 pin CPU cable is not connected it still can be a PSU?

I have done that. From removing the CMOS battery for 10 plus minutes and disconnecting the power as well. Reconnect and same issue. That was the first thing I did when I couldn't get it to post. Plus the button I was hitting on the board was a CMOS reset that loads optimized defaults in the BIOS. So not only pulling the battery, and power to let it discharge I also hit the button on the boards tweak section.

my manual told me this unplug your pc from the wall ,remove BIOS battery from the battery holder use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the positive and negative terminals of the battery holder, making them short for 5 sec.that what i did when my pc fail to boot.

I just ordered a new board and psu for tomorrow. Actually the same ones. I'm going to test each one, and find out which one is at fault. Then send them back. Here is another 900 dollars on hold...

i know its a pain, but you wanna remove all parts gpu"s hard drives (use onboard graphics)can you get another psu ,can be with lower power try just power up major parts motherboard MEMORY and CPU (remove GPU"S FROM MOTHERBOARD CAUSE THEY GETTING POWER FROM PCI SLOT) your old psu power just low power parts its just couple FANS .when you connect to motherboard it supply 2 gpu"s all memory water pomp hard drives.im illuminating PSU ,I GUESS ITS FAULTY .SRY English its not my native language.

Okcnaline - Is this normally what CPU's do when they fail? In all my years of building PC's I never had a bad CPU go bad. Not really a whole lot you can check on the CPU itself. What I can say is I think during my trial it took the second motherboad. Now the new MB is doing the same thing as the first one. If its a bad CPU can it re-fry the new board like that?

Well it could be me or I'm going crazy but got the CPU out and looked at the bottom, and looks like I have a VERY VERY faint burnt pads. Not black but a little bit darker. Don't see anything on the MB though, but think it took the new mb. :(
