I have tried windows 10 and Windows 7 and they both are having an issue with this problem in which windows perfectly boots up and loads everything if I only have the SSD plugged in, however if i also plug in my HDD then it just sits in the boot up loading screen for forever. The SSD is in first priority w ACHI and I have tried different SATA cables and ports.. I also installed Windows on my SSD and left my HDD blank. I took out my SSD to booted my computer w just the HDD to see if it installed on the HDD as well but there is "No media" on it therefore windows was not installed on it.. help plz

Hey there, 7Sav!

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD Blue HDD. I'd strongly recommend you to try using a different SATA cable and also plug the drive to a different SATA port on the motherboard. Check if that will help you recognize it. If you have access to another computer, you could also try connecting the HDD there and see how it will be detected.
Since you have trouble booting with it, you should try the DOS version of our WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics. It will help you determine the health and SMART status of your WD Blue, once you run the QUICK & EXTENDED tests.
Here you can find the DOS software for your product: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=tCECph
Here's the manual for the utility as well...
