Hi, so i have a 4x4gb ddr4 3000mhz corsair ram
my motherboard is a z170-deluxe from asus. When i enable the xmp profile , everything loads fine, benchmarks fine. When i go to sleep at night, i shut down my pc, and in the morning power it up, only to see the overclocking failed please press f1 to go into setup to fix. I dont fix anything and reboot and its fine. This happens every morning..

does anyone know a fix or why? I tried increasing the SA and the other one like ppl suggest but its not working.
I thought it was my cpu overclock, but i left it at stock and its still happening.

so far its stable. Waited 2 days, pc powers up np now. I think before when i changed voltages it'll stay locked at 1.349 or something for the dram. I installed ai suite locked it at 1.36 and increased the CPUVTT and DDRVTT. So far so good. Passed an hour of realbench too.

do u know why m.2 ( samsung 950 m.2 256 gb ), is running slower than its supposed to? Im getting around 1700-1900 kinda inconsistent. Sorry, im semi noob as this is only my second pc build ^-^.

Again, thank u so much for your help !!

sadly enough, on day 3 , i finally get the overclocking failed message.
Im not sure entirely whats causing this, could it possibly be the ram timings i have to manually input?

if i take the dram up again by .05
it'll be at 1.4 from 1.35 will that be fine?

dram at 1.4 , VTT currently at .725.

Will try these settings hopefully it'll work tmr morning. Will update with results.

hmm it seems as though its still not stable.
I ran 15 minutes realbench, and it also detected instability.

I put the ram back down to 2400 and my cpu OC to 4.8
and its 100% stable. Is my ram faulty, or is this how all 3000 mhz ram goes? Kinda new here, insight will be appreciated.
If its faulty, let me know asap i still have a week to return it before the 30 days.

thats what i thought, but i ran the test at stock ram + 4.8 cpu everything worked ( ran it for 2 hours ), including the morning boot that suprisingly worked too.

everything is pointed to my ram right now. Do you think it possibly could be faulty? Or is ram supposed to be overclocked like this instead of going straight to xmp and working out of the box?

hmmm thing is, i think a week ago, i thought it was the cpu too. I set it to stock, and my ram at 3000 and in the morning when i boot, i would get the overclocking failed too.. so it has to be my ram right? Or am i doing something wrong? :<
