put new ssd, bios shows it sandisk ssd listed but once in windows i dont see it

hi i finally got rid of my old spare regular hdd and i got a new 480gp sandisk ssd . anwasy so i go in pull out my old standard hdd, which was the E drive and didnt have windows on it, so i put my ssd in same slot, use same power cord and same sata plug and put case back tgoether, start windows, i only have a c drive the orginal ssd with windows on it and some programs, so i restart enter bios, i havent changed anything in there and dont see what to chagnge, anways i see it listed, both drives intell ssd, and the sandisk, oh the sandisk is the new one

motherboard is msi b85
old ssd still using is C drive 180gb intel ssd with windows on it.
old hdd was 250gb E drive seagate hdd with games on it.
new ssd using as e drive is sandisk 480gb ssd

ok under device manager i see the ssd listed, in windows both, under properties it says type "unkown", status "not initialized"
