Gtx 970 FTW+ really loud?

So i recently brought a EVGA GTX 970 FTW+ ACX 2.0

I have seen videos on it and people all say that it is really quiet at around 40-50% fan speed.

For me this is not the case. At around 40-50% it sounds really loud compared to the rest of my computer.

can somebody tell me why this is?

Perhaps the fans are faulty, or loose. Could be a manufacturer issue, maybe the rest of your rig is really quiet. I doubt this with how much ventilation and places for sound to escape in cases these days, but maybe the sound from the fans is less, and could be resonating inside of your case.
