Hey guys, was wondering if anyone had this combo and could help me out understanding the bloody cables. I am new to pc building, I understand the parts but when it came down to the cables and PSU I lost my mind. There are so many and I don't know half of what I need to hook up to get the max out of my case and cooling system. Can anyone help?

Erm, help you with what exactly? If you're asking for an installation guide for the Kraken x61? Then follow this guide. If you're asking where the optimum area/placement for the x61 inside the Phantom 820 will be? Then look at the top mounting spots inside. Have the fans exhausting the air to the top of the case. With the fans placed either outside the case or inside under the radiator.

If you're inquiring about the fan controller then have your radiator fans run off the daisy chain cable bundled with your x61 while connected to the x61. The fan controller should be left to manage your case fans and your fan controller can handle 15W per channel/header.

when dealing with wires, run them individually and isolate them. You can try and take some masking tape, a felt pen and labeling each bundle as you work with them.

I'm sure you got worried upon seeing this bunch

Don't worry, just take it slowly and work your way up or down however you feel comfortable.

You could shoot some pics if you'd like help managing cables though.

Hey man thanks for the reply even so late, also my reply to this is unbelievably late as well. I was dumb as hell and I figured it out. I was just so afraid with breaking stuff that I was hesitant to do anything. After getting my baby up and running everything I did inside of it after was a joke. Replacing my power supply, upgrading my gpu and tossing it into SLI. Once I felt comfortable, taking off the case side and getting my hands in there was not an issue. Thanks for the help though!
