Console gaming or pc gaming?
Anything above 32 inches is rubbish for pc gaming but if console gaming, vizio m and p series both around 18-19ms input lag which is stellar for cheap but then you get into your samsungs which most are around 20-30ms input lag but they will have all the extra features you require..
But Samsung = $$$

^@ fiddsy,
Not many Samsungs have that low of input lag, and the problem with them even if they do, is you're either putting up with high lag, or high blur, because they are high in blur without their anti motion blur feature turned on, and with it on you get lots of input lag.

hi, what smart functions do you need exactly?
also do you plan to use tv for watching tv/movies or just gaming?

Some still are though, and the Vizios are actually doing well in gaming specs like input lag and blur.

Monitors have their problems too. Most don't scale very well for instance.

Thanks for the reply guys . i am gonna use this Tv for pc gaming and for watching tv watching movies i m going to fit the tv in my living room and my pc is near where i am going to fit . i like playing games in a big screen .

Depends what you care about most, and if it's used for purposes other than gaming, like movie watching, net surfing, etc.

What I find strange is a lot of gamers rave about certain monitors, just for things like fast response times, or high refresh, or G-Sync/Free Sync, yet most made for gaming so called high end monitors with such features, have just cheap TN panels.

TN panels are way lower picture quality due to being only 6 bit color depth, which can show in color banding, inaccurate and often blurred flesh tones, and lousy viewing angles. So yeah, if all you care about is fast response, high refresh, and frame syncing, you may be all right in some respects, but you're going to have crap picture quality compared to an 8 or 10 bit panel display.
