I have a 250 GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD with windows 7 installed on it.
Can I allocate space from my SSD to accelerate my HDD ?

So what you are asking is can you use part of the Samsung drive as part of a cache for the mechanical drive for the most frequently run or used programs off it, like a SSHD drive does.

Interesting question, and I guess not a bad Idea.
Maybe there is a bit of software that allows you to do just that. :)

Sort of, but why?
OS on the SSD? Great
Applications on the SSD? Great

So what is living on the HDD that needs you to siphon off part of that 250GB SSD to be a cache?
