Crucial M550 128gb SATA Read/Write Issue

hi guys,

as recommended by some co members here, i finally got my crucial m 550 128 gb SATA SSD as they say was a good choice over both the first 2 options i was supposed to choose which are the sandisk ssd plus and kingston v300 ssdnow.i tested my crucial m550 128 gb sata using crystaldiskmark. and this are my results.
my question is, is this readings good, am i getting the speed that i am paying for?

Based on the drive's specs and the benchmarks of the same model I was able to find, I'd say that everything looks fine with the results you have. Make sure that you have TRIM enabled. This is an OS function which helps the SSD to stay at its optimum performance throughout its entire life. Here's an article with tips on how to manage an SSD: https://www.maketecheasier.com/12-things-you-must-do-when-running-a-solid-state-drive-in-windows-7/. You might skip the part with disabling system restore altogether, you could just set the space it requires to a lower value. Note that even if it says Win 7, those recommendations are viable for the newer versions as well.
