I have the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 gpu, with BIOS version F10.
I downloaded the F13 (newest) bios version and got 3 files after extracting the zip archive (this is the download page http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5209#bios) :

- a pdf file
-N970G14DD.F13
-N970G14DP.F13

I˙m using the Gigabyte VGA @ BIOS tool to flash. Can someone please guide me through the procedure, I don`t know which BIOS file should I flash ?? Also, the Pdf instructions say that I need to use some kind of DVI cord, but my monitor supports only HDMI...I have no idea what to do.

@CROcodile20 , I have a GTX 970 G1 myself and I flashed a modified BIOS , changed the F3 official BIOS with MaxwellBiosTweaker to have the fans 0% spinning when idle , like the Strix from ASUS or Gaming from MSI. Haven't tried VGA@BIOS , did it with nvflash. Anyway , is easy to find out which of the version DD or DP is active for your VGA. You need to download and open GPU-Z , you find it on TPU website , https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ , then save the BIOS of your VGA , you click where the image shows here , http://imgur.com/a/ohUlB and save as something easy like g1 , I saved mine as gigi , will automatically add the .rom at the end since is a BIOS file , so will be gigi.rom. the screen will blink a few times...

Then after you saved it , you open it with the MaxwellBiosTweaker found also on TPU Website , https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2562/maxwell-ii-bios-tweaker-v1-36 , you click on Open BIOS and browse to location you saved your BIOS. Now your BIOS model will be displayed in the first field called NAME as you can see here with mine , http://imgur.com/a/Qaox4 . Since Gigabyte GTX 970G1 has 2 BIOSes without using a switch , this is the only way to see which one your card is using primarily. I circled here , http://imgur.com/a/2BzBJ , to show you that mine is using the DD one 4GD_D/F3. After you will save your BIOS , it will show you in MaxwellBiosTweaker which one is using yours , so you will know which of the BIOSes downloaded you will use. Sorry for the somewhat long post , I am not a native english speaker but I hope you understand it and it will help you and others. So you don't need 10 cables etc to find it , is pretty easy , good luck.
