Hi, i have a P5G41T-M LX V2 motherboard perfectly working with kingston KVR1333D3S8/2GB RAM. I bought a new RAM kingston KVR13N9S8K2/8GB (2x4GB). But when i start computer, i cant even reach the bios, simply black screen.

When i returned my old 2GB RAM to computer, it worked perfectly. I tried to use only one new RAM and try both slots but with the same result, black screen and i couldn't even reach the bios. Any ideas what might be wrong ? Thank's for your help.

The 'new' Kingston appears to be a newer lne that uses high densitty memory chipos, which aren't compatible with older socket 775 mobos, might drop a PM to the Kingston rep here on the forums to confirm send the PM to KingstonHQ

Don't try using the two sticks together at first (old and new).
Try clearing the CMOS and then seating the two new sticks in, see if that works
If no luck, boot with the old sticks, make sure you have the latest version of your BIOS then try again with the new sticks
