i guarentee it is not a good one. :)

their "standard" psu is usually whatever raidmax/leadex type thing they can get a bulk deal on.

know the psu is "good enough" for the build but also know any upgrade is gonna want a new psu to go with it.

for the money it's not that bad really. the quad core fx is not that great but the 960 is a lot more than i normally see in this price range and will make a good bit of difference in games

I'm very close to purchasing it because I've spent months looking, do you think it'll be a major problem? Also do you think I can get a better pre-built for the price and if so would you have recommendations please?

So would you say it'd quite a good buy as a first gaming PC or do you think I could get a better pre-built for the price and if so any recommendations? Thanks.

as i said for that budget the gpu is actually pretty good which makes up for the not so great cpu some.

i can't say i have looked at pre-builts in this price range lately so i can't say what else is out there for you. but if you have been looking and this is the best you have seen that should tell you a lot. :)

to compare i went to partpicker and built a similar system using just about the cheapest parts available but not total junk either and was right on this same price. so it is not overpriced and priced about right for what is in it anyway.

wish i had more detailed comparison for you but it's been a while since i shopped the UK for a prebuilt system
