Hey.
A few days ago, I got a new Nvidia GTX960 graphics card online.

I noticed that when I installed it and got everything together, I turned the PC on and it told me that I had to wire a 6-pin directly to it.

So I opened it back up, and noticed a 6-pin slot that I needed to fit to the GFX card directly from the PSU.

My PSU is a 650 watt, 80+ bronze rating. However, I lost a vital cable required to directly plug it into my GPU.

This is the cable that connects from the GPU to another cable I don't have.

I need to find the cable that can connect to the 4-pin on the link above and then directly to the PSU, but I don't know the specific name.

Also, is it possible I might short out any components from sucking up way more power than I originally have been using? ( I have a GTX640 currently installed )

The power supply only has 650Watts, and I heard that the GTX960 can take up to 400.

I would love to know that too.

Thanks for reading!!

the 4 pin is called a molex plug. so you need the cable from the PSU to a molex plug. what model PSU do you have?
the card consumes 120 watts, nvidia recommends a 400W as a minimum to run with the card. so your psu is good.
