Hello all,
I've just built my first computer and am having some difficulties getting the RAM to overclock. I have 2x 8gb 3200MHz G. Skill Ripjaws, and they are placed in the b1 and b2 slots (for some reason, when i put them into a2 and b2, or a1 and b1, one of the ram is not recognized by the BIOS). I want to overclock the RAM to use its full capacity, because as of now they are set to 2133MHz, and I need to do XMP or something to get them to run at 3200MHz as they are rated. I've considered the idea that increasing the voltage might help with this situation, but I didn''t want to do something that I am not technically capable of. Could anyone explain to me what to do and how it works (so I feel safer doing it)?

Setup:
Z170 pro gaming
Intel i5-6600k
Samsung EVO 500gb SSD
seagate baracuda 3tb HDD
FSP Hyper 500 PSU
Arctic Freezer 240 cooler
G Skill 3200MHz 16GB (8x2)
MSI Radeon R7 360 Graphic card

Please help! Thank you in advance, any tips are appreciated!

Hmm so when i set the xmp profile on bios and restart my computer, it seems like theres a little delay then when i go back into bios to check the stats, the xmp is turned off again. I dont understand why its turning off automatically, as i would assume that if there is a problem, itll just not post instead it just changes the profile for me. Any clue how to solve this issue?
