Corsair Carbide Series 200R Front Panel Help

My mother broad has the following

. . . .
. . . . .

PLED+ PLED- PWRBTN# GND
HDLED+ HDLED- GND RESET# GND

With everything plugged in I have the one in bold empty, noting plugged into it. I uunderlined I have them plugged in. I couldn't space out the top row, but hope it makes sense.

Question is...why is the middle gnd empty?

It would help if you listed the motherboard. But I suspect it is not needed. Usually, there is one pin empty and one missing pin on a FP header.

Yep. Page 20 in the m/b manual shows that is exactly how it is suppose to be.

I suspect they allow for the user to connect the reset pair in either direction.

So the empty one is normal?

Also, is there a way to test everything works without a HDD and monitor connected?

You need a monitor to see if you get a display and it boots to BIOS at least.
