Hello,

Perhaps you are just hitting some network threshold where the online requirements exceed capabilities.

Does he have to make any configuration changes on the work computer to make it connect at home?

Does the work computer use wired or wireless at work?

What is the work computer's performance when no other devices are online?

What sort of work is he doing on the work computer? Lots of uploading and downloading?

What applications are running in the background?

Has his work computer been given some priority via your router (QoS)? Home routers can offer various levels of QoS.

Does he have administrative rights to the work computer and is he allowed to make changes?

Could be that the work computer is just simply not playing well with your home wireless network/router. E.g., using some auto negotiation setting where a forced manual setting would work better.

Probably need to provide a bit more detail. E.g., router make and model.
