I tried moving the stock 140mm rear fan that comes with the case on the side panel, however the screw that fits in the fan does not fit in the side panel holes. The fan uses standard case screws/fan screws, however the side panel features thinner holes. I want to buy the Corsair SP140MM PLED fan for the side panel, however, if an NZXT stock fan didnt fit in their own case, I have doubts that Corsair's will. Am I missing something? Or is there a special 140mm fan with thinner holes that goes there?

Solution
you are right, you do need to use a special screw that would've been included with the case.
