I'm not sure what the best cpu for gaming would be out of these, I will only be playing at 1920x1080p.

1.Intel Core i7-5930K
2.Intel Core i7-6700K

Solution
Really anything above 3.4ghz works great with a intel quad core, so the 6600k, e3 1230 v5, and 6700k works great at stock clocks, and the 5820k works just fine, i ran mine at stock for a while with my 780ti. So unless he wants to learn how to overclock the Xeon is the perfect option for price and performance, but the 6700k is a good option, if u go with a fairly cheap motherboard around $100-120 as it then is cheaper than the 5820k and a $200 x99 motherboard.

Both the 5820k and k sku 6600k and 6700k requires a aftermarket cooler as neither come with one, but obviously not an issue. As you said price isnt a concern, id go for the 5820k more performance for a similar price and works well at stock. The 5960x has a stock clock of 3.0ghz...
5820k, cheaper or similar in price to the 6700k and if u were considering the 6700k you dont need the 40pcie lanes that the 5930k provides over the 5820k 28 pcie lanes as the 6700k has less than the 5820k. Best for gaming only the 6600k would probably be fine, and if u want the i7 and not overclock the xeon e3 1230 v5 is the answer, and if u want the i7 to overclock the 6700k or 5820k is the way to go. At the current cost of the 6700k, the 5820k is the cheaper option even though the motherboards cost more as the cheapest is barely under $200

what would ur top 5 GAMING cpu's be? i don't have budget concerns.

if price isnt a concern go get the 5960x, it overclocks well and has 8 cores and 16 threads lol. Its hard to pick a top 5 for gaming without a budget and toms hardware has a great way of picking the best cpu per budget as that is the best way of finding the best cpu - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-cpus,3986.html. For gaming only as I said a i5 is really all you need and the i7 6700k is more than enough and the 5820k, 5930k, and 5960x are more enthusiast cpus, or cpus for cpu intense tasks like rendering, but the 5820k gives quite a bit more performance for less than the 6700k, and with the current cost of the 6700k i find it hard to go with.

Mentioned before the 6600k costs $270, the Xeon E3 1230 V3 costs $275, 5820k costs $380, 6700k costs $420, 5930k costs $580, and 5960x costs $1050.

Now only the 6600k is only a quad core, and the xeon e3, and 6700k are quad cores with 8 threads, and the 5820k is a 6 core with 12 threads and 28 pcie lanes, and the 5930k is the same as the 5820k with a higher out of the box clock speed and 40 pcie lanes, and the 5960x is a 8 core 16 thread with 40 pcie lanes.

I guess I should've asked what's the best gaming cpu at stock speed, this is basically a gift for my cousin lol, but he has no idea how to overclock properly and niether do I so ye...
would the 5960x still be the best gaming cpu at stock speed?
I apologize for being a noob :p
