I am getting lag stuttering and freezing in every game i play on my new hardware ive tried reinstalling windows deleting my hard drives clean installs but nothing changes it
You should post your complete build and gaming resolution; then it may be easier to identify the source of the issue. What version of Windows?
I have Windows 10 64-bit i have 8 gig of ram i have r9 380 4gb NITRO, i5 4690k the Msi B85-G43 GAMING motherboard
idk if its the newest amd crimson drivers or what it could be? Im on a 1080P monitor
Also when i was playing fallout 4 my game froze and says display driver has stopped responding but that doesnt only happen on fallout 4
Windows version? What memory modules and did you run Memtest86+ overnight to test them? What PSU (it's the most important component)? I'd suspect the GPU, but the PSU could also cause the problem. Did you test with a different quality PSU?

I am running windows 10 home 64 bit
And my psu is a 750 watt so thats not the problem and how do i do these tests how will i know what it will be because i just got this gpu a few days ago and im not sure if it is the new crimson drivers or what it could be
You can run the Windows memory test and/or Memtest86+. Did you have issues before upgrading the GPU? A 750W PSU means nothing; we need the make and model because some cheap PSUs can't deliver their advertised power.

How do i do the windows one? and no problems before the gpu but i got my new processor and motherboard only 2 days before so im not really sure if its one of those
the psu is a thermaltake toughpower 750watt psu
but could it be the ram with my new motherboard maybe? if ram causes stuttering and display driver to stop responding
Unless there's a serious issue with it, RAM normally doesn't cause stuttering. Type "memory diagnostics" from the desktop and you should see it. Could you test with the old GPU?

Im going to try the memory diagnostics but do you think you could maybe answer me this?
I was playing fallout 4 and ive tried like 10 times but when i play for about like 5 minutes the game freezes then my pc black screens as if theres no hdmi in and then it never comes back so i restart the PC and same problem? could this gpu be defective or could it be due to the new crimson drivers by amd?
I think that you should test with the old GPU and if there are no issues, then RMA the new one. I can't recommend workarounds for a brand new GPU; it either works or it has to be replaced.

okay i will try the other one but do you think the freezing on fallout could just be a compatability issue with my card and the game rn?
That always is a possibility, but it doesn't make sense that it occurs after 5 minutes. The only time I ever ran into a similar issue the GPU was defective.

I just used furmark to stress test my gpu and on 4k and everything it only got to 67C and didnt crash so do you now think it could just be game compatability issues?
Absolutely. There are no FPS drops while stress testing? Try a lower resolution to see if it makes a difference.
Yes but how long should i stress test and what are healthy max temps? and is there a way to test my cpu maybe thats the problem? and ill go try that
Also is there a more intense gpu benchmark just to be safe? a free one?
Minimum 15 minutes; it will throttle if need be. If it crashes, then the GPU is defective or overclocked too high.
Okay it has been 15 minutes and the temp highest got to 77c but no fps drops or crashes so do you think the card is fine and its most likely a driver or game issue?
It may still be the card, but if it fails with a single game, then it could be driver issues. Did you check if a patch exists for that game?
well last night i just updated to the new 16.1 beta driver and i dont think it happened before i got it so i am unsure. Also its on steam so if one comes out itll get it
