Do I use static pressure or airflow fans in the front panel?

Usually, trying to find fans for most people is a no-brainer. But I found RPMs, Static pressure, and airflow fans. It has been very confusing and I need help. I need to know what kind you use for the front panel, the hard drives, and the back.

Static Pressure (often called SP) fans are basically for pushing and pulling air through an obstruction like a radiator/heat-sink or through mesh/grate/filter like you probably have on the front panel of your case.

Air flow are made for unobstructed airflow. You'll usually find these at the back of your case, sucking air out of the case and into the room.

SP fans are often thought to move less air but that's not usually true. At least not anymore. They're typically more expensive but that difference is usually very low. Even a high end SP fan only costs around $15-$20. SP fans typically tend to be a lot quieter, too. I have 7 Corsair SP fans in my case and even at full blast, I have to get me ear close to the case to hear them...

I'd personally suggest putting SP fans in your front panel, especially if they have a drive bay/stack that they're pushing that air through. If there's nothing obstructing the fans besides a filter, mesh, etc., you'd probably be fine with air flow fans.
