I have an off brand PSU that has served me well, but with how expensive the parts I am ordering are, I can't risk losing all of them with all the time I spent saving for the parts. My build:
CPU: I7-4790k
Mobo: MSI Z97s Sli krait Edition
Ram: Kingston Hyperx Fury Black 2x8
Storage: 7200rpm HDD (Already owned)
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 (already owned)
PSU: ??????????
Case: Haf 912 ATX MIdtower

I was looking into the EVGA B2 750 watt and 850 watt, but I don't know how well EVGA performs when it comes to a PSU. My max I will spend on a PSU is $100.

Either of those would work the 850 watts would allow for using 2 of the video cards is SLI.
If your just going to run a single card then I would look at the EVGA G2, P2, or GS series in the 650 watt range that will allow for really any video card to be used in the future.

If you get a lot more wattage than you need (like 750+), your PSU wont actually be working efficiently, as most only reach their proper efficiency rating at 80% usage and above, so unless you plan to double up your GTX 970s in the future, stick to 600 or below.

With your system I'd recommend a nice 550 watt such as the EVGA Supernova GS 550 (80+ Gold), which as you can from my signature powers my 980ti system perfectly.

This breaks down your current components, not including the case (couldn't find it on PCPartPicker) and shows you'll need at least 400W. I wouldn't skimp, especially if you plan on doing any upgrades. The card itself needs 145W which means that you'll need 550W for a second card in SLI. I'd shoot for at least 750W to give yourself more room for upgrades, outside of a possible second graphics card.

I'd go with the one suggested by SR-71 Blackbird:
EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
