I have a bronze 600 watt power supply and was planning on getting the sapphire r9 390 when i noticed it had a tdp of 375 watts 0_0. However, for some reason the MSI one only has a tdp of 275 watts which makes no sense to me. Should I buy the msi r9 390 or can my power supply not even handle that? I would get the sapphire one but I feel like my power supply would not be able to handle it. Also, I do not plan on overclocking.

I tend to disagree with peppermint even tho a power supply will work if its not a good name brand your always going to take a good chance of it failing soon and if they fail then you take a chance it takes a lot if not all your hardware with it as well .... So I would try to buy a good Name brand PSU SAY FROM SEASONIC EVGA SUPER FLOWER XFX ... AROUND 750 watts will give you plenty of headroom and your going to be safer on your build..

When it comes to a psu quality is very important. For a 390 I'd rather have a good quality 620w unit over a low quality 1000w unit. But to give you a better answer we need more info like the make and model if the psu and the rest of the systems specs.
