A friend of mine gave me his hp envy23 d039 all in one computer to try and fix.
His computer was running beyond slow. My plan was to do a clean install of Windows. He was eligible for the win 10 upgrade so I managed to get it installed, I was trying to check the activation status but it was literally taking hours and the window had not popped up yet. So my plan was to go into safe mode and run malwarebytes hoping that would make the computer usable again so I could actually check the activation status of windows. If all was good I was going to do a clean install however this is where things went downhill.
I changed the boot device in the bios to the cdrom drive so that I could boot from the windows 10 disc and enter safemode that way but since I changed boot sequence now the computer wont boot, I just have a blank screen and it doesn't seem as though windows is actually loading and the screen is blank so i cannot even get into the bios if i wanted to.
I tried removing the cmos battery, it was out for about 5 hours and I also tried clearing it using the jumpers but no matter what I do I cant get anything to happen.
I'm pretty sure the problem is because of the boot sequence being changed.
I'm currently trying to flash the bios but I'm having a hard time finding info on how to do that without being able to see whats on the screen.
Does anyone on have any suggestions on what I can do to try and get this computer running again?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Sounds more like some type of hardware failure. It should boot up on the install disk if you have changed it to the CD/DVD drive as primary boot device. I would contact HP about the warranty and possible RMA. Don't mess with the Bios, it's not your problem.
