Hello,

I would like to ask you for advice regarding these two GPUs and monitor.
What would you suggest me from this two options:
1. Get GTX 970 and ''cheap'' $120 monitor
2.Get GTX 960 and get decent ''expensive'' 1ms 144hz gaming monitor

What do you think?

I would get the GTX 970 and the cheap monitor. The 144 Hz monitor will mostly be wasted on a less powerful GTX 960. You won't often be able to hit 140+ FPS to make it worth it. The GTX 970 is so much more powerful, it's a better investment and even cheap monitors generally look pretty good.

Admirable
I have a really nice 27" monitor (same panel and apple used to use in their iMacs)
I love the clear, sharp detail and the realistic colours.

If you go for a 960 instead of a 970,
1. You may need to turn the settings down slightly to get good FPS, so fog and smoke effects or reflections on water may be slightly less realistic. Are you really going to notice?
2. You will need to replace it sooner.

I have a 970 and a cheap monitor and it is still fantastic. It is a much better idea to get a 970 and a cheap monitor because it is easier to upgrade to a better monitor that to get a second 960.
