Suggestions or additions for my first PC build.

Solution

You should look a bit...
Nope, not really.

I can give you a better build if you tell me your budget (probably) but your build is good - I don't see any low quality parts or issues (I would get a G2 power supply though instead of Seasonic). Also, a bit of a waste on the monitor.

Good luck :)

I'm right on my budget with those parts at the moment, so unless there is a part there i can get a cheaper version of I can't really upgrade anything. What would be the benefit of a G2, I don't know enough about power supplies to really know which is better, I've just heard lot of good stuff about sea sonic and their quality

Better than what you have listed.........

Upgrades you to a i7 4790K processor. I use the same motherboard, processor and memory!
I would also look at a 24" monitor it's about the sweet spot for 1080p and would save a few bucks.
Their nothing wrong with the Seasonic 620 Watt PSU and it's a good choice for the price. All Seasonic black boxes are high quality!
The monitors I use. Very good for the price.

I've done a bit of research and the i7 4790k looks more like a downgrade than a upgrade.

You should look a bit harder, the 4790K beats it in about everything and if your going to be streaming or editing it don't even compare.
