touch screen driver

Solution
This seems strange but if you want to risk it, right click on the touchscreen in Device Manager and choose Properties, Driver, Uninstall then install the Dell driver.

Inspiron AIO i5 3459 64bit Win10
the touch screen was touching itself. I uninstalled the driver and found on the computer the Microsoft driver dated 6-21-2006
I rebooted and the touch screen was working fine for about 5 days. Now it is back again touching itself. I ran self-test from Dell and everything is a pass.
I have tried to install their latest drive but the computer touch screen shows little-flashing balls in the right bottom corner of screen, won't let me touch.
Anyway, when I go to see what driver is installed it shows the old dated 6-21-2006 as working properly.
How do I remove this old driver and install the Dell driver?

It would be best to go to the Dell website, type your model number and download the touchscreen driver from there, which should come with an install wizard.
If not, it may be a hardware fault.

I have installed their latest and the old one is returning back on the listed driver as Microsoft driver 6-21-2006 as working properly.
I can't remove this old driver. Why is my question?
I'm not that computer savvy.
Sir, thanks for your reply.
