GTX 780 Oculus Rift Performance

Do you think the new Rift would run okay on a 780? I could upgrade to the 970 (recommended) if I need to but do you really think it is necessary?

Full specs: Core i7 4770K (Overclock to 4.2GHz), EVGA 3Gb 780, 8GB ram, MSI Z87 Gaming MoBo

Well, the 780 should do okay. But, if you do need to upgrade the R9 390 8GB would be the best choice for an upgrade.

Alright, you should be fine. But, seeing as you have a fantastic CPU, I would recommend upgrading to an R9 390 or even a GTX 980Ti in the future.
