HELP my my new computer build will not show an image on my computer screen

SO i have a new computer build (my first one) and nothing will show up on my monitor. I don't think the PSU is the problem because all the components light up or start running.
My motherboard - is the Z170A Gaming Pro (not M7)
CPU - Core I5 - 6600K LGA 1151
RAM - two sticks of corsair vengeance 8GB per stick 1.35v
Graphics card - Asus GEFORCE GTX 960 4GB
PSU - 450W

I would also like to mention that when i tun on the computer a light pops up on the motherboard called DRAM. I checked the manual and it says that this means there is a failure in the DRAM.

Try leaving single RAM module installed. Test each slot. See if still DRAM LED on.

Is the DRAM LED on in all cases?

Yes it is on in all cases. It flicks from the CPU LED for less than a second then onto the DRAM for about 6-10 seconds depending on where the sticks are placed in the 4 DIMM slots. I read that a sound would be made, 1 short beep but i heard no such beep when plugging in headphones

Not sure what's wrong. Try connecting case speaker to the motherboard, and see if any beeps, or try testing it at a local PC repair shop, if not too expensive.

What is the make/model, on that power supply? Just because it is 450w, doesn't mean it is a good one. Try removing the graphics card, and using the integrated graphics.

Superflower makes good units, so I am not overly concerned about quality, though you are at the minimum suggested PSU, for a GTX 960. As long as you are not overclocking, that should be safe to use. Not saying it can't go bad, but at least it isn't a PSU better suited to being a doorstop, like diablotek, or similar Tier 5 units.

I know that my board gets picky, when I change graphics cards. Maybe try a CMOS reset?

Well if it is working with the GPU removed, you have either a bad GPU, or possibly a faulty PSU. If the PSU is a bit older, it could be a bit too weak now. They do lose a bit of their capacity, when they get old.
