Hey i'm considering to build a PC and i found i5 4440 very cheap but i don't know if it's going to bottleneck my sistem . I've already bought one r9 280x and i will add one more in the near future .
Will there be any bottleneck ? The PSU May be Geil Thortech Thunderbolt 1200w Gold if someone asks .

Solution
For an dual 280x build, I would suggest getting this power supply:

- EVGA Supernova 650 G2

Its an extremely well made unit that will be more than enough for your system.

No, bottleneck would be with AMD cpu's you should be fine with i5. But crossfire isnt good. It's better to have 1 good Graphics card than 2 weak. also 1200w is too much, you could be running 4 280x's with 1.2kw

always better to use an overpowered psu, yes, 1200 is waaay too much, but if he can get one, it's a good psu, no reason to advice against it.

Sorry but thats totally wrong. There is a VERY strong case for not using a totally overkill wattage PSU; efficiency.

Most PSUs are rated for efficiency at 80+ load. This means they will only running at those famous '80+ Gold' ratings when your system is actually drawing 80% or more of the wattage it can give.

So, if the total power draw of your system is only 700w, and you have a 1200w PSU, that is no where near 80% load. Therefore, your expensive PSU will not be running efficiently, and consequently will be costing way more in energy bills every month than a more suitable wattage PSU would be.

If the 1200w is too much i can go with this as well http://www.fsplifestyle.com/product.php?LID=1&PSN=384

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1575419 and there's tons of other examples, the best efficiency isn't over 80%, it's somewhere between 40 and 60 depending on the psu. yes when using an overpowered psu in the 10-20% range the efficiency is affected but this is not the case.

on the other hand, yes, i like the g2 you suggested, it's a very good psu, i'd be a bit reluctant to use it on a cf 280x system, but for a single card it's definitely good.
