Casio keyboard doesn't install drivers (WK-7600)

My recently bought keyboard (WK-7600) won't install the drivers required for it to be detected when I plug it in the computer with a USB A-B cable. All system requirements checks out and I have done everything the manual says I have to do, I even tried this on another computer with the same results. FAQ doesn't suggest anything so I'm starting to think it has something to do with the cable? perhaps the unit was damaged under transportation? I don't know.

Could be the cable. You are staying within the 15' (5 meter) length limit - correct?

About all you can do is try another USB A-B cable and attempt to first install via the original computer and then again on the other computer.

Another round of installation failures probably indicate keyboard problem.
