Can i use this ASUS H97 mobo for intel Xeon 1231 V3?

as long as its listed in the boards supported cpu list and with its supporting bios just because its a 1150 don't mean it will work as said above

Xeon E3-1230L V3 (1.8GHz, 4C, HT, L3:8M, 25W, rev.C0) ALL 0301 - your board has to have bios 0301 or higher prior to using this chip
as with asus and there sad support info [reasons I dont use asus anymore] it says bios 0333 was its first release ??? go figure ?

zeon is fine just no overclocking or graphics on chip is about all you need to worry about and then there not any big deal

I look back and wish I went xeon over this i5 once in a while , but that's just me it should do all you ask I feel
like the reviews from egg - most all are from guys with there gaming rigs ?? [and happy]
