DDR3 Gskill 32GB 1600
3x Noctua NF-s12' Fans
2x Stock case fans

Razer Chroma Keyboard
Razer Naga

I have some spare cash laying around, any improvements/recommendations?

sell 970's and get something better like 2x980's or 980 ti's or just upgrade to i7 6700K with z170 mobo and ddr4 ram

you will see difference in both cases

Maybe some sound card and use 7.1 or 10.2 surround sound and maybe use a costum water loop

or you can get single 980 Ti and 6700k, will have better performance than now

Yeah, the Gfx cards, will be upgraded to Titan in a few months, but...is there really that much of a difference in the DDR4 from DDR3 to warrant a ram and mobo change?

I would rather go with 980 Ti. Why? because it's better, all non-reference 980 ti's will smoke titan X. Between ddr3 and ddr4 it's almost no difference, the difference is in CPU.

Yes for gaming is 980 ti better choice, some 980 ti's are even reaching 20fps more than titan x and they are much cheaper.

but if you will upgrade to skylake i7 6700k you will need ddr4 ram

Go with a 980ti or save your money and wait a few months for Pascal. The performance difference between Haswell and Skylake isnt worth the price of upgrading imho, your 4690k can run a pair of 980tis no problem.
