What is causing my computer to freeze randomly?

It freezes randomly, from being completely idle to have been running all day. We have done the following to try and fix it:

- Reformatted/ reinstalled Windows 10
- Removed each RAM stick to see if either was corrupt
- Installed SSD (helps at least restart after freezing)
- Ran various malware and virus scanners
- Ran a registry fix tool

Nothing has helped! Sometimes the computer blue screens and resets with a vague error message like "There's an error, language edited by moderator"

Does anyone have any ideas? This issue has been going on for months.

Can you please pass on your full systems specs? Is this installation of Windows 01 based off the free upgrade path or availed using a licence key? Are you sure your BIOS as well as the rest of your device drivers are up to date? Rule out the installer being corrupt by recreating your bootable USB installer and reinstalling your OS. Have a go with repair install and see if the issue is averted. Likewise try and go into Device Manager and see if any device is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark.

- Removed each RAM stick to see if either was corrupt
Run memtest86 for 10 passes, per stick per slot and see if any errors pop up. If any errors come up then the ram stick(s) is(are) faulty.

What were your specs prior to the SSD introduction? Were you on Windows 10 on the previous specs?
