Hello all i recently bought cheap microphone (http://www.trust.com/en/product/16973-starzz-microphone ) and for the money it's pretty good mic and all but, i have really loud static noise from the pc's Rear Mic In port. So my question is this, is there a way to reduce or even mute the noise generated or i have to go for usb microphone directly? I know usb mics have no noise in addition with 3mm jack but they are more expensive. If anyone can save me with any solution or even with a budget usb mic it will be appreciated. I need the mic to start a new channel on youtube but you know i can't spend so much money from the start i have to see how it goes first. :??:

Could you please pass on your full systems specs including your OS? You can go into your sound manager or third party audio device software suite and minimize the volume for your mic. That should take care of your noise but the concern is that it shouldn't have any static on it.

Lets's try and work with what you have before new hardware is suggested for purchase ;)
