So I have built several computers and have a general idea of what I am doing. But I am no means an expert. But this has seriously stumped me. I have given my graphics card and power supply to my cousin and we have moved his old computer to a new case. The specs are below.

Specs:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03933829#N90 this is the basic build with the motherboard and cpu and such on it.
These are the only changes from the original computer.
1) We moved everything to a Phantom 410 red mid tower.
2) We installed a new Power supply 600 watt
3) We are trying to put in a Nvidia 670 graphics card.

Problem: When the graphics card is installed and plugged in correctly the motherboard gives 6 beeps which, according to google, means that the motherboard/cpu is bad. all the fans light up and the case runs. No screen however and no boot or bios. or anything. When the graphics card is removed the computer boots normally and runs perfectly fine and boots and you can play games and everything. There seems to be an issue between the motherboard and the graphics card. How can i fix this?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you very much for your answer and helping me solve this! I really appreciate it! I was only able to work on the computer on the weekends so it took a week before I was able to get back and try this. lol.
Thanks again!!!
