Hey guys I'm in a bad situation and would appreciate any help.
My Build:
-MotherBoard: msi 970 gaming am3+
-CPU: amd 8320e
-GPU: asus gtx 960 stix 4gb
-Ram: hyperx 1866 (2 x 4gb)
-SSD: kingston cloud 9 (240gb)
-PSU: corsair CX600M

I recently put together my pc and it booted up into bios fine, but once I changed the boot order, the bios froze and i had to power off and then on. However, once i restarted, the keyboard that had initially worked, stopped working(usb). I heard about using ps/2 but how could it work before and then suddenly stop working like that? anyways, i got the "reboot and select proper device screen" but couldn't access anything since the keyboard wouldn't work. I then disconnected all the sata connected with the power off and unplugged, and got the "EFI Shell version 2.31" screen. Again i couldn't access the bios. Then i changed the ram slots from 1&3 to 2&4, i added the cd drive that wasn't install yet, connected all the sata connections and then reset the cmos by shorting the JPAT1 pins with power off and unplugged. Finally, i started back up, but this time the screen did not dsplay anything, just the black screen that reads no hdmi signal. I changed the ram to just one slot at dimm2 but that didn't do anything.
Thank you in advance and your help would be much appreciated.

The links below are the monitor displays I got.

The "reboot and select proper device screen" does not relate to the RAM, that relates to your SSD with the OS, or the storage mode was changed due to you reset the CMOS.
Make sure the SSD is plug into the 1st SATA port. And read the manual, and boot into the BIOS to set the boot order, like either DVD-1st and HDD-2nd or HDD-1st and DVD-2nd, and make sure the storage mode too is in ahci too, save and exit to reboot the PC.

hey I'm really sorry for the late response.
There is no OS installed on the ssd right now, but before it could boot into bios. However, when I changed the boot order to having the optic drive first, then ssd. The monitor gave me the "EFI Shell Version" screen and I couldn't get into the bios at all and couldnt use my keyboard that previously worked. I heard about how resetting the cmos could help, so i shorted the JPAT1 pins for 15 seconds with the power off and plug disconnected.I also installed the optic drive at this point. When i powered on this time, there was nothing displayed on the monitor. my monitor just reads no hdmi signal.
I'm sorry if I am not being detailed enough, please let me know on where to elaborate. Thank you
