If wanted to drop 200-300 euros on a CPU+mobo+ram should i go Haswell or Skylake?

I wonder how important it is to futureproof considering how much better i could have my build if i wanted to stick to Haswell

Another point in favour of Haswell is that i could keep my ram, it's a crucial 8gb 1333mhz

Looking for a non K intel chip, overclocking is a pain in the ass. I tried doing it for my FX-6300 and the performance is still shit plus i think i fucked up since my pc sometimes stutters videos and crashes about once a week when i try to open one.

Solution
most likely hasewell as chances are most retailers are trying to get rid of their stock, so hasewell will be cheaper, and since u already have ram, it gives another reason to go for hasewell. The i3 4170 is a pretty good chip for the price, and if u can try to stretch your budget at least in the us, the xeon e3 1231 v3 is similar im pricing to the k sku i5, and is pretty much a non k i7 equivalent, and will be a big upgrade from the 6300.

But since u already have ddr3 ram and finding a ddr4/ddr3 motherboard for skylake isnt easy, probably go with hasewell. Also skylake needs low powered ddr3 at like 1.25v and most ddr3 runs at 1.5v better safe than sorry.
With Skylake now available, there is absolutely no question in my mind that a new build should be Skylake.
a. Prices for cpu, z170 motherboard and ddr4 ram are almost precisely the same.
b. Skylake has an estimated 5-10% performance improvement per clock over haswell.
c. 14nm runs cooler, you get a decent overclock without the need for exotic cooling.
d. The Z170 chipset permits the use of much faster ssd devices on the horizon. Samsung 950 pro for example:

e. skylake can be upgraded in the future to kaby lake.
