Hi, i have a quick question about choosing capacity when creating raid 0 with my 2 ssds.

Say each of my ssd has 250gb, when i create raid 0, do i have to choose 500gb?

If not necessary, what will happen to the rest of the storage? Can I make them as another drive with no raid or raid 0 again but for other purposes?

Thanks in advance!

1. RAID 0 + SSD is mostly useless, unless you have a specific use case for this.

2. 250+250+RAID 0 = 500GB.
Where you expecting something else?

Could you partition off part of that 500GB space? Probably.
But good grief why?

Just have those 2 drives as individual drives. C and D for instance.

Think really, really carefully before you go down that SSD + RAID 0 path.
