Hello, I've been here once before with roughly the same questions, but that was a while back.
As of right now I'm looking to upgrade my computer to be as good as it can be within a decent price range. The price range will be between $600 and $800, right now my part list is as follows.
AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.5GHz
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard
AMD Radeon R9 270x 2.1GB dedicated memory
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHZ 8GB ram
1TB Seagate HDD
650W PSU.
As of right now my biggest issue when gaming is my processor, followed closely by my GPU.
So I was originally thinking of grabbing a new MOBO, an intel i5 processor, maybe i7 depending on price; since I would like to stream using this, and then looking at good NVIDIA card, like a 970 or 980; again depending on price and money I have on hand.
So my question is this; is it worth doing that upgrade, or should I stick with my current path of AMD and buy like an AMD FX-9590 and an AMD R9 390x, or should I switch the mobo, get an Intel CPU, and an NVIDIA GPU? Thanks for your help guys. I really appreciate every input given.
