I have recently decided to build a pc, and to do so i will be scavenging some parts from my old.

From the old pc I will be scavenging these parts (The old pc was prebuilt)

Intel core i7-4770

Nvidia Geforce Gtx 760 1.5gb (to be upgraded later with me possibly setting up a sli with 2 980s)

I'm rather new at pc building, and as such would like it if someone could suggest some parts within a 600$ total price range. (Of course compatible with these 2,and preferably 16 gb of ram)

P.s. I know about pc part picker but im not sure how to get the most bang for my buck

What do you hope to accomplish?
With a i7-4770, you should already have a suitable motherboard. What is it?

If you have a GTX760, you should have at least a useable 500w psu. What is it?

The cpu and gpu define 95% of the performance of your pc.

If you need better graphics, I would point to a GTX980ti which will run on a 600w psu.
A good single card will be a better gamer than dual cards.

Its a Crappy acer do i have to say more? only 2 decent parts are cpu, and gpu (though i hope to upgrade after the fact)

Acer does a crappy thing with their mother boards so they need a 12 pin adapter psu :p and MB was shit from begining (along with a failing HD)
