Why is a monitor with speakers less expensive than a monitor without?

As the title asks; why is it that way as i have found 2 monitors, same everything that i have read, except that the one without speakers is more expensive. Why is that so?

If I were to take a wild guess, I would say because the LG 34UM94-P is last year's model, but that's just a guess.

Wolfshadow nailed it. The price of 34" IPS, especially 4K, is rapidly decreasing. It's just the different cost to manufacture the monitors at the time of release, with a degree of supply/demand exclusivity. For example, the year before last, they were all above $1000, and were rare to begin with.

So what they're saying is the 94 is newer and cheaper or its simply last years?
