Hey, I'm looking to upgrade the AMD Radeon HD 6570 2gb graphics card in my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-575a

PC Specifications:
Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4GHz (Max. 3.8GHz)
8gb RAM
1.5TB Hard drive
Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit)

I'd prefer to only upgrade the GPU/Graphics card and not the 300W PSU as I can't really afford it.

I've been looking at the nvidia GeForce GT 720. but I'm open to ideas and will try to upgrade the PSU if anyone thinks it'd be a better option.

basically what I want, is to play games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim etc. with medium graphics settings.

If you game @ 1080p, upgrade the PSU to at least 500W and a GTX 970 (I recommend EVGA FTW edition)
If you game @ 1440p, upgrade the PSU to at least 600W and get a GTX 980 Ti (MSI, EVGA or Gigabyte). I believe GTX 980 Ti wouldn't be overkill for 1440p if you want to max out AAA games for at least 3-5 years coming.
Here is the PSU I'm using and it's a very decent unit:

Good luck :)

I think I'll go with the 1080p option. I've looked it up and shouldn't cost much more than about $550 (AUD) should be a pretty good set up with 500/600W PSU and GTX 970. thanks
