Obviously the laptop also includes OS, mouse, keyboard, basic speakers and wi-fi and bluetooth. Think it has backlit keys too. As much as I hate Apple, they do look pretty nice as well.
The cost of that is around $2400 for the Macbook.
The equivalent Windows Desktop would be something like this:

Similar CPU in terms of power, this has slightly faster RAM but a slightly slower SSD. It has wi-fi and bluetooth, OS, backlit keyboard and a mouse, a bigger monitor which is also 1440P and IPS, speakers and looks cool with a similar silver and black theme. Comparable specs overall although obviously the Macbook is much more portable and has a battery. The desktop however is much more customisable and over $1400 cheaper.
The Macbook has good specs for a laptop, but compared to a desktop they're pretty average really. A laptop so slim has some serious power restraints as that CPU has to be kept within 15W. No such problem with a desktop.
