Hello, guys. So I'm wondering what should I do with a Samsung Hard Drive of mine which shows a perfect status but at 9% health on HDSentinel.

Solution
There are no bad sectors on the drive. Yet, this calibration retry could indicate some mechanical flaw.
In case the drive is under warranty, you can just RMA it. In case it is not, and it operates just fine, I guess you can continue using it as long as your data is backed up.

Irrespective of any SMART status of HDSentinel predictions, you woul dbe crazy not to have a backup of any important data on a HDD..
So with a backup - you can run it until you get a clear warning of failure.
If money is not a problem.. you may as well replace it now, its always a bit of hastle if you need recover from backup - so may as well replace now. Peronally I don't have experience of HDSentinal - so cant really comment on its veracity.. but if you worried - replace.
HTH
Cheers

Hi there Kenjiro2684669,

I would agree with yoji and say that you need to back up the data stored on the drive until you sort this out.
What seems to be wrong with the SMART report? You can observe reallocated/pending/uncorrectable sectors count. It would be useful if you provide a screenshot.
Also, it will not hurt to test the drive with another tool: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

Let me know how this goes,

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the advice, but I've already backed my files up so I guess I'm good. I'm just kinda wondering if there's anything else I can do in order to still use this particular HDD. Also, I'm not that quite knowledgeable when it comes to the SMART report. Your advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Lastly, here's a screenshot of the SMART of the HDD.

Thank you for the advice. Sadly the HDD is out of warranty but since my data's backed up I'll probably continue using this one for a while. :)
