I installed a Samsung evo 850 SSD in order to make it my primary drive to replace my old WD 1TB storage in order to allow for faster booting. I installed the OS on my SSD first then went and Formatted my old HDD to clear everything. I then went and set priority booting to my SDD after activating windows/updating and installing motherboard drivers/graphics. Now when I boot my computer it asks me to pick from one of the two available OS's. The first one is my correct OS that will properly boot the computer, yet the second OS will provide me with the "Boot Manager Status 0xc000000f" otherwise known as the "Windows Failed to Start" error. Im unsure of how to solve/where the issue is taking place. Is it in the new SSD or in my old HDD.

Solution
When you startup in the working OS click on start. In the search bar type in MSCONFIG and hit enter.

On the Boot tab there should be two OS's listed. It will say which one is the Current OK. select the other and then delete. That should fix your issue.

next time install windows with ONLY the SSD installed. When ever isntalling windows it is ALWAYS advised and best to install windows initially when ONLY the targe drive is installed. What happened was you installed it to your SSD while your OS was installed on the HDD so it saw you had another install of windows and shows them both in the boot menu. The reason why it happened AFTER you switched is because the HDD didn't know you installed windows to another drive while the SSD did...

Doing the above should fix the issue.
